Bid Manager – Hotels & Data Centres
About the Role:
Are you a seasoned marketing professional with a passion for architecture? We’re hiring on behalf of a globally renowned firm with a track record of creating beautiful, high-performance places. As a Bid Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the firm’s pursuit of landmark projects within the Hotels and Data Centres sectors across the EMEANA region. Your creativity and strategic insights will be central to shaping how the firm presents itself to clients, ensuring that each proposal is not only compelling but also reflects the firm’s commitment to sustainability, creativity, and excellence.
In this role, you’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to manage the bid process from start to finish. You will oversee the creation of high-quality proposals, design impactful marketing materials, and help raise the firm’s profile in the industry through creative and effective marketing campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the entire proposal process, crafting persuasive qualifications packages, proposals, and collateral that align with the firm’s brand standards.
* Work closely with studio leaders and business development teams to create strategic marketing materials that highlight the firm’s award-winning work.
* Coordinate project photography, public relations efforts, and digital campaigns to increase visibility and attract target clients.
* Maintain and monitor client information, contributing to proactive marketing strategies based on market research.
* Manage submission timelines, deadlines, and project assignments with precision and attention to detail.
* Compile and share compelling project milestones, stories, and case studies to elevate the studio’s reputation in the industry.
* Mentor and collaborate with other team members, fostering a culture of innovation, creativity, and collaboration.
Key Requirements:
* A Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
* 8+ years of dynamic marketing experience, ideally within an architecture or engineering firm.
* Proficiency in InDesign; experience with Photoshop and Illustrator is highly advantageous.
* Strong command of the MS Office Suite with exceptional writing skills.
* A passion for architecture and interior design, with a strong attention to detail and design excellence.
* Proven project management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
