Role DescriptionThis is a maternity cover for our Women's Wear Designer - preferably with experience across multi-category including wovens, jersey, denim & swimwear. It is a on-site role based from our studio in Fitzrovia, London. The primary responsibilities include trend research, CAD designs, tech packs and assisting with product development including trims and fit. The Women's Wear Designer will work closely with the design team to create collections for our brands. Qualifications Proficiency in Sketching and Fashion Design - must be skilled in Adobe Illustrator for CAD design and making tech packs. Experience of Adobe Photoshop a plus. Experience with Textiles and Product Development - must have a strong knowledge of woven and jersey fabric bases Strong Research and presentation skills Excellent attention to detail and creativity Ability to work both independently and collaboratively Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or a related field Must have experience in doing in-house fits with the technical team Great communication skills, confident presenting designs to team and buyers The hiring process will consist of one or more interviews and we will expect to see strong examples of your recent work that covers these product categories and this market.
