Owen Reed is looking for a Family Solicitor for a top law firm in London.
Owen Reed is recruiting a Family Solicitor (1+ PQE) to join a growing and supportive Family Law team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated solicitor who is confident managing their own caseload and has mandatory court experience, working within a fully office-based environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage a varied family law caseload, including private and legal aid matters .
* Handle divorce, financial remedy, private children matters and domestic abuse applications .
* Prepare for and attend court hearings, including bundles, statements and advocacy where appropriate.
* Draft high-quality legal documents, correspondence and applications.
* Provide clear, practical and sensitive legal advice to clients.
* Liaise with courts, barristers, clients and other professionals.
* Maintain accurate files and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff.
Requirements
* Qualified Solicitor with minimum 1 year PQE in Family Law .
* Court experience is essential .
* Strong understanding of family law procedures and court rules.
* Ability to manage a busy caseload independently.
* Excellent communication and client-care skills.
* Willing to work five days per week in the office .

* Empathetic and professional approach to client matters.
* Organised, proactive and detail-focused.
* Additional language skills beneficial but not essential.
