Job Title: Risk Control Specialist
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Risk Surveyor to join our team. As a Risk Control Specialist, you will play a key role in identifying and mitigating risks across various commercial and industrial sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct on-site and desktop assessments to determine whether hazards are adequately managed and identify risk mitigation programs
- Produce high-quality reports to agreed standards
- Prioritize workloads to deliver services efficiently and effectively
- Collaborate with other teams, dealing with technical referrals, training, and sharing best practices
Requirements:
- In-depth knowledge of risks and required risk management solutions
- Understanding of risk management and loss prevention practices
- Familiarity with building construction, design, fire protection standards, and suppression systems
- Knowledge of Health and Safety Legislation, codes of practice, guidance, and industry standards
- Ability to analyze and interpret underwriting information
- Strong IT and keyboard skills, with proficiency in MS software products
- Developed presentation and communication skills, with the ability to negotiate and influence
- Relevant professional qualifications, such as a NEBOSH general certificate
- Full UK driving license
