Teaching Personnel is looking for a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to work within one of our partnership schools in Bristol City Centre. You will be working closely supporting teachers and within a multi-disciplinary team to create a safe, supportive environment where every child, particularly those with SEND needs or English as an additional language, has the chance to succeed.
Some Key Responsibilities:
* Working with students 1:1 and in group settings to create an inclusive, supportive classroom environment where they can flourish.
* Adapt learning activities and resources to meet diverse student needs.
* Helping to implement behaviour support plans and encourage positive coping strategies.
* Build strong trusting relationships with students to encourage confidence and resilience.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Experience working with challenging behaviours and specific learning disabilities.
* A calm, patient, and resilient approach to problem-solving
* Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport quickly
* A genuine passion for supporting children and helping them overcome barriers to learning.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
