We are looking for a Residential Support Worker to work at specialist residential services across the region, specialising in autism, speech and language disorders, moderate to severe learning difficulties and associated behavioural difficulties. Hours: 7.30am – 8.30pm, on a rolling rota of 3 shifts on and 3 shifts off pattern. This is a Childrens Residential Support Worker positon and as such you will need experience of supporting Children with learning disabilities. As a Support Worker, you will safeguard the residents, maintain confidentiality at all times and promote independence and choice. You must be able to communicate effectively across teams, completing detailed handovers, as well as with the young people themselves, adopting their preferred communication styles. The role will include, undertaking regular checks throughout the night and completing paperwork to a high standard as well as delivering personal care.
