Role Overview:
As a Trainee Apprentice Dental Nurse & Receptionist, you will be an integral part of our team, supporting our dental professionals while providing excellent customer service. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is eager to learn and progress in both the clinical and administrative aspects of a dental practice.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist the dentist and dental hygienists during patient treatments
* Prepare and sterilize dental instruments
* Process dental X-rays (under supervision)
* Ensure patients feel comfortable and supported during visits
* Manage patient appointments, scheduling, and records
* Handle front desk duties, including answering calls and emails
* Provide information on dental services and treatments to patients
* Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to clinic protocols
* Support with general clinic administration tasks
What We're Looking For:
* Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor
* A keen interest in dental care and a desire to learn
* Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure
* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
* Proactive attitude and a team player
* Previous customer service or administrative experience is a plus, but not required
* A willingness to complete an apprenticeship and learn on the job
* A passion for delivering exceptional care and service to patients
