To be Accountable for the Management of all rigging and lifting operations including reviewing, preparing and implementation of lifting plans. To support and give direction to offshore LOLER Focal Points in the Implementation of Wood LOLER Scheme of Compliance, and Clients Lifting and Hoisting documentation and LOLER regulations (1998) To interface with Wood Head of Lifting on matters relating to hoisting and lifting. Support Asset Implementation and Project Engineers ensuring effective, efficient and safe use of the Implementation and LOLER requirements. Effective maintenance of Performance through HS&E and participation in any safety programs Responsible for assessing effectiveness of working practices and systems with a view to continuously improving systems, personal and team performance Carry out work in accordance with Wood Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality systems Liaise with Wood onshore Support Team on Hoisting and Lifting activities. Attend Kick Off meetings for all CP and Projects where applicable advising on Hoisting and Lifting activities. Offshore Surveys to aid preparation of Hoisting and Lifting arrangements and formulate lifting plans. Liaise with Structural department on the preparation of Hoisting and Lifting arrangements for CP and Projects. Liaise with Project Engineers on the preparation of Hoisting and Lifting arrangements for work packs, CP’s and Projects. Liaise with Asset Maintenance Department’s in relation to Hoisting and Lifting activities. Prepare Lifting Plans/Drawings and Risk Assessment for inclusion in work packs in line with implementation processes. Offshore supervision of Hoisting and Lifting operations as required. Attends Hazids etc., where there is a Hoisting and Lifting content, as required. Promote and support the implementation of all competence and training requirements for the Wood offshore workforce. Participate in incident investigations involving Hoisting and Lifting when required. Final arbiter on suitability of Risk Assessment and Lift Plans as required. LOLER Focal Point Support to Wood Ensuring compliance with LOLER and PUWER regulations Managing cross-asset priorities Qualifications What makes you remarkable? SVQ/NVQ Level 3 in Constructing Capital Plant Steel Structures – lifting and positioning ECITB TAP01 OPITO Rigger Assessment of Competence Previous Operational Supervisory Experience Relevant offshore experience in Rigging / Lifting within the Oil and Gas Industry Capable of working independently and as part of a team Good Communicator and Self motivated Good knowledge and experience of construction methods, planning reporting Proactive Approach to resolving difficult situations Promote and be proactive in Safety Computer Literate Knowledge of current legislation and best practices Conform to the agreed values and behaviours of WG
