Workshop Controller

What You'll Be Responsible For
Operational Control & Workflow Leadership
* Taking full control of workshop loading, job allocation and technician productivity
* Monitoring labour efficiency and ensuring optimal utilisation at all times
* Managing workshop WIP to ensure deadlines are met and customers are kept informed
* Overseeing smooth day-to-day running in a dynamic, high-volume environment
Technical & Compliance Oversight
* Ensuring vehicle health checks are completed accurately and effectively
* Supporting labour time management and workshop profitability
* Managing warranty processes in line with manufacturer standards
* Overseeing the MOT station and ensuring full compliance and quality control
Team & Communication Excellence
* Acting as the vital link between technicians, Service Advisors and customers
* Supporting and coordinating a team of twelve technicians and four service advisors
* Working closely with the Aftersales Manager to drive performance and continuous improvement
* Promoting a positive, accountable and customer-focused workshop culture
