Registered Manager. Autism Pathways Location: Hawarden, North Wales Salary: Up to £50,000 - £55,000 per annum (dependent on experience) Start Date: September / October 2025 About Autism Pathways Autism Pathways is a leading provider of specialist accommodation and support for individuals with autism and complex needs. As part of our continued growth, we are launching Oakmere, a brand-new, purpose-built residential service in Hawarden. This is an exciting opportunity to join us at the very beginning of this journey and play a pivotal role in shaping a high-quality, specialist service. The Role We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager to lead the operational delivery of our new Oakmere service. This is a rare opportunity to take ownership of a new service from the outset, ensuring it is fully compliant, person-centred, and ready to deliver exceptional care. Key Responsibilities Lead the day-to-day operations of the Oakmere service in line with CIW (Care Inspectorate Wales) standards. Build and manage a skilled, compassionate team through effective recruitment, training, and development. Oversee referrals, assessments, and transitions, ensuring a smooth and supportive experience for individuals and families. Promote a culture of dignity, respect, and person-centred care. Ensure robust safeguarding, quality assurance, and compliance frameworks are in place. Develop strong working relationships with families, local authorities, and external professionals. Champion continuous improvement and innovation in autism care. About Oakmere Oakmere is a purpose-built residential service designed to meet the complex needs of adults with autism and associated conditions. The service includes: All accommodation consists of large, modern, self-contained individual apartments which include lounge/dining room, Kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. High-quality, person centred care and support, developing bespoke pathways for all. Non-restrictive assistive technology supporting safe care and promoting independence. SMART homes which are robust, safe, energy-efficient, technologically advanced and adaptable to meet each person’s needs. What We’re Looking For Proven experience as a Registered Manager in autism or learning disability services. A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards it). In-depth knowledge of CIW/CQC regulations, safeguarding, and autism best practices. Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills. A commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred support.
