Turf & Trials Integration Manager
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Turf & Trials Integration Manager to join a leading research facility. This role will be responsible for ensuring turf and site conditions fully support the delivery of high-quality research trials, acting as the key link between grounds operations and research teams.
You will provide strategic oversight of turf standards, translate trial requirements into practical maintenance plans, and ensure surfaces and facilities meet the highest professional standards.
Key Responsibilities
Align turf maintenance strategies with research and trial requirements
Oversee turf performance and ensure surfaces meet required standards
Act as the operational link between grounds teams, research staff and stakeholders
Provide leadership and strategic direction to grounds operations
Develop maintenance plans, operational systems and site improvement strategies
Ensure compliance with health & safety, machinery and chemical management processes
Support client visits, demonstrations and industry engagement
Requirements
Proven experience within professional or high-performance sports turf environments
Strong leadership and team management experience
Ability to translate technical or scientific requirements into operational plans
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Relevant turf qualification (Level 3/NVQ or equivalent)
PA1/PA6 or willingness to obtain
Full UK driving licence
Desirable
Experience supporting research trials or experimental programmes
Data interpretation or research-driven environments
Degree in a relevant discipline

Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 depending on experience, with flexibility for exceptional candidates
