Job Description:
Banana Moon Altrincham is a thriving nursery looking for an enthusiastic, energetic, and motivational Assistant Deputy Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to help lead a happy nursery where we focus on encouraging children to be children, learning through fun and engaging play. You will work with a dedicated team in a caring, family-friendly, characterful, and stimulating environment inviting to children, families, and staff. The Assistant Deputy Manager will have responsibility as a Room Leader and support the management with leadership of the team in the daily running of the nursery, while also taking responsibility for management duties in the absence of the Manager or Deputy Manager.
Your role includes supporting the operation of the nursery facilities and staff, ensuring high-quality, balanced practice education and care. You will ensure adherence to Banana Moon policies and procedures, legislative requirements, and education curriculum standards to achieve the highest inspection grades.
You will assist in training, supporting, mentoring, role modeling, and supervising staff, inspiring and leading ambitious practice. You will create a safe, caring, and welcoming environment where families trust us and children are encouraged to flourish.
You will promote a successful business with a first-class reputation, engaging with the local community and marketing the nursery while providing excellent customer care.
As a designated co-ordinator relevant to your skills or training, you will have key holder responsibilities.
Requirements
* A full and relevant Level 3 qualification or higher.
* DBS enhanced disclosure within the child workforce sector.
* Paediatric 12-hour First Aid certificate.
* Safeguarding training and qualification.
* Minimum of 2 years post-qualifying experience.
* Minimum of 1 year leadership experience.
