Information Exploitation & Capability Specialist
Location: RG7 4PR, between Reading and Basingstoke, with free onsite parking.
Package: £39,500 - £45,000 (dependent on your suitability, qualifications, and experience)
Working pattern: AWE operates a 9-day working fortnight.
Hybrid working is available on an informal, non-contractual basis, typically 2/3 days onsite per week.
Clearance Level: Obtain and maintain DV security clearance, funded by AWE. Applicants must be British Citizens resident in the UK for the past 10 years to qualify for DV clearance.
Role Overview
AWE seeks an Information Exploitation & Capability Specialist within the Information, Configuration & Knowledge Management group. The ideal candidate will understand strategic information organization, security, and leveraging data to enhance decision-making, efficiency, and innovation in a complex technological environment. Responsibilities include supporting senior specialists, fostering professional growth, improving practices, ensuring compliance, and enhancing information asset exploitation.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Assistance: Support the development and implementation of strategies, policies, and frameworks aligned with organizational goals and legal standards.
2. Performance Monitoring: Track and report on progress towards KIM objectives, providing insights for decision-making.
3. Skills Development: Promote KIM capabilities, identify skills gaps, and recommend training.
4. Cultural Change: Advocate for a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning.
5. Process Improvements: Guide stakeholders in best practices for accessible, effective information use.
6. Digital Tools Adoption: Support the use of digital tools to streamline workflows.
7. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with stakeholders to meet business needs, manage risks, and support decision-making.
The company may require additional duties aligned with your role as needed.
Candidate Profile:
Essential criteria include:
* Experience in L&D
* Strong stakeholder management skills
* Knowledge of training methods, including technology-based learning
* Proficiency in Office 365 Applications
Ability to work calmly in a changing environment, manage workloads, demonstrate initiative, enthusiasm, flexibility, and meet deadlines are also required.
