Our client, a rapidly expanding Group Training Association (GTA), is currently seeking a Mechanical Instructor to join their team in Hull. The organisation provides engineering apprenticeships and adult skills training to numerous companies in Yorkshire and Humberside. Key Responsibilities: Delivering high-quality apprenticeship and commercial training in mechanical engineering Conducting training sessions in mechanical planned and reactive maintenance Instructing on the operation of lathe and milling machines Teaching the safe use of hand tools Providing training in hydraulics or pneumatics Ensuring compliance with health & safety practices and procedures Utilising chemical process industry knowledge and/or CAD if applicable Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry standards Job Requirements: Experience in mechanical engineering Knowledge of mechanical planned and reactive maintenance Experience operating lathe and milling machines Familiarity with hydraulics or pneumatics Proficiency in health & safety practices and procedures Minimum Level 3 Engineering qualification Good interpersonal and computer skills Full driving licence Knowledge of the chemical process industry and/or CAD (desirable) Benefits: Full support in developing necessary teaching skills Opportunity to train the next generation of engineers Permanent, full-time position Continuous professional development Collaborative and dynamic work envir...
