The Role As an SEN Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include: * Providing 1:1 or small group support to pupils with additional needs * Assisting the class teacher in planning and delivering tailored activities * Supporting pupils’ emotional regulation, communication, and engagement * Helping to create a safe, positive and inclusive classroom environment * Liaising with SENCOs and external specialists to support learning plans Requirements To be considered for this role, you must have: - A minimum of 6 months' experience working with children in the UK - A genuine interest in SEN and a compassionate, flexible approach - Strong communication and teamwork skills - Patience, resilience, and a proactive attitude Experience in an SEN setting or training in areas such as autism awareness, Makaton, or Team Teach is desirable but not essential.
