Job summary
The Social Media and Content Marketing Executive will be responsible for creating, implementing, and managing content for the company's social media channels, as well as clients' social media channels and digital marketing campaigns & projects. This includes developing compelling written and visual content, monitoring engagement, and reporting on the success of campaigns to drive business goals.
Responsibilities
Content creation and strategy:
Develop and execute an integrated content strategy that aligns with overall brand messaging and marketing objectives.
Write, edit, and publish engaging content, including social media posts, articles, blogs, and email newsletters.
Coordinate with graphic designers, photographers, and other content creators to produce high-quality visual assets, including videos, images, and infographics.
Maintain and update the company's website content through a content management system (CMS).
Social media management:
Manage and schedule content across key social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
Monitor social media channels for mentions, comments, and direct messages, and engage with the community in a timely and on-brand manner.
Analysis and reporting:
Use analytics tools (like Google Analytics and social media tool analytics to track, measure, and report on content and campaign performance.
Provide insights on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as engagement rate, follower growth, and website traffic.
Monitor competitor social media and content activity to identify trends and opportunities.
Collaboration and industry knowledge:
Collaborate with other digital marketing team members and departments to support broader marketing initiatives and goals.
Keep up to date with the latest social media trends, content marketing and digital marketing best practices.
Skills and qualifications:
Proven experience in a social media, content marketing, or digital marketing role.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for grammar and detail.
Creative thinking and the ability to generate new and engaging content ideas.
Strong organisational and time management skills to juggle multiple projects and deadlines.
Proficiency with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer) and graphic design tools (e.g., Canva).
