Were currently seeking a Mobile Electrical Service Engineer to join our Mobile South team, servicing Berkshire, Hertfordshire, and South Bucks.
The Role
As a Mobile Electrical Service Engineer, you will be key to maintaining and servicing electrical systems across a variety of commercial and residential sites. This role offers more than just electrical work; youll gain hands-on experience with mechanical systems, air handling units, pumps, and plant equipment. We provide on-the-job training, enabling you to expand your skills across multiple trades and become a versatile engineer.
What Youll Do
1. Deliver electrical installation, maintenance, diagnostics, and repair across diverse sites.
2. Perform planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and ensure accurate documentation.
3. Respond swiftly to breakdowns, minimizing downtime for clients.
4. Manage and track spare parts and coordinate remedial work.
5. Conduct risk assessments to uphold health and safety standards.
6. Follow Permit to Work procedures to maintain safe working environments.
7. Collaborate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
8. Participate in a regional on-call rota for out-of-hours support.
9. Maintain tidy, compliant plant rooms and keep tools and test equipment in excellent condition.
10. Engage in continuous learning and development, broadening your expertise across mechanical and building systems.
What Were Looking For
11. Recognised industry qualification in Electrical work.
12. Proven experience in electrical maintenance, fault finding, and diagnostics.
13. Knowledge of mechanical systems, air handling units, pumps, and building management systems is a plus.
14. Strong communication skills with the ability to build professional relationships.
15. Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
16. Valid UK driving licence.
17. Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts.
