Job Overview
We're seeking an experienced leader to play a key role in shaping and embedding AXA UK's approach to operational resilience, ensuring that the organisation meets regulatory requirements while fostering a resilient, 'by design' culture across the business. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the Head of Operational Resilience in developing and maintaining the testing strategy.
* Lead the integrated AXA UK Resilience function, providing services across all resilience disciplines.
* Design and enhance the resilience testing framework to ensure UK regulatory compliance and best practices.
* Define and execute testing methods such as walkthroughs, tabletop exercises, failover tests, and simulations.
* Oversee scenario-based tests and simulations to validate preparedness and resilience.
* Collaborate with Business Partners to incorporate business unit level input and coordinate cross-functional testing and improvement actions.
* Identify resilience gaps across people, processes, technology, data, facilities, and third parties.
* Provide insights and analysis to support resilience‑by‑design initiatives and continuous improvement.
Work Arrangements
At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) in the future. Away from home means attending the office, visiting clients or attending industry events. Skills & Experience
* Leadership experience in Operational Resilience, Business Continuity, and Crisis Management, focusing on resilience testing and validation.
* Strong presentation and communication skills, capable of engaging senior stakeholders and boards.
* Proven success leading complex, multi-year regulatory programs, working with numerous entities on resilience testing and improvements.
* Thought leadership in measuring, enhancing, and maturing resilience testing capabilities.
* In-depth knowledge of operational resilience practices, standards, and industry developments.
* Understanding of AXA UK’s operations, subsidiaries, and broader AXA Group entities is beneficial.
* Technical knowledge of IT infrastructure, facilities, and operational technologies relevant to resilience.
* Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and influence decision-making at senior levels.
