At Northern, we know that looking after our colleagues means looking after our customers too. As Absence Admin Support, you'll play a key role in helping managers handle sickness absence fairly, consistently, and with care – keeping our teams strong and our services moving .
This role is all about organisation, accuracy, and communication. From scheduling mee tings and taking notes, to keeping absence records up to date and analysing trends, you'll be the go-to person for making sure absence processes run smoothly.
What You'll Be Doing
* Supporting managers with all aspects of sickness absence, including note-taking at key meetings
* Scheduling meetings and preparing accurate paperwork in line with policy requirements
* Analysing absence trends and providing data insights to improve wellbeing and performance
* Assisting with the alternative duties process and keeping records updated
About You
* Experience in HR administration or absence management support
* Highly organised with strong time management skills
* Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
* Familiar with HR systems such as SAP or Skylight
* Able to work independently and handle sensitive data with care
