Network Manager
Location: County Hall, High Street, Newport, PO30 1UD
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Duration: 6+ Months
Working Hours: Mon - Fri, 09:00 - 17:00, 37 Hours per week
Pay Rate: £ 36.94 Per Hour

Job Responsibilities
* Work with the Network Management team and support the Strategic Manager and Service Director.
* Oversee network operations under the Highways PFI contract.
* Approve and review the Operations and Maintenance (O&M) program.
* Inspect and audit site conditions and ensure compliance.
* Manage road space bookings and emergency road closures.
* Conduct safety and cleanliness inspections.
* Evaluate Service Provider performance and initiate audits as needed.
* Lead meetings with Network Board, Programme Board, and Member Review Board.
* Handle communications with the public and local councils.
* Approve treatment plans and maintenance strategies.
* Manage condition surveys and handback conditions.
* Oversee Communications, Press Releases, and website updates.
Person Specifications
* Must Have
o Ability to work on the Isle of Wight 2-3 days a week.
o Strong leadership and management skills.
o Experience in contract management and network operations.
o Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
o Proficiency in reviewing and approving technical documents and strategies.
* Nice to Have
o Own transport for commuting.
o Experience with Highways PFI contracts.
o Familiarity with NRSWA regulations and road space management.
