Your Impact
An Exciting Opportunity for a Lead Project Manager to deliver the current and future CIRCM including successful delivery of the production programme, act as primary contact with customer programme teams and securing future business. This role is ideal for an experienced Project Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has excellent organisational skills, and enjoys working collaboratively with customers, and subcontractors to deliver high-quality results.
You'll be responsible for managing a small team of Project Leaders to deliver day-to-day operations, ensuring works are completed on time, and reporting weekly updates into the customer, Northrop Grumman. In addition, drive opportunities to reduce costs and de risk future production contracts through development of second sources for key material items and obsolescence management.
What you'll bring
* Manage and deliver all aspects of the production programme, including managing the production IPT, material requirements, customer expectations, and sub-contractor progress.
* Deliver current second sourcing strategy, develop opportunities to reduce costs and mitigate obsolescence risks.
* Oversee subcontractors and ensure works are carried out in accordance with the agreed statement of work.
* Develop and maintain excellent relationships with clients, residents, and internal teams to ensure a positive customer experience.
* Monitor project performance, budgets, and timelines, identifying and mitigating risks where necessary.
* Report progress regularly to senior management and key stakeholders.
* Drive continuous improvement and promote best practice across all project activities.
* Prepare bid estimates for future contracts and work with the cost estimating team for proposal creation.
