KS2 Teaching Assistant (Full-time, Temporary)

£440 - £460 per week (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)
September 2025 – July 2026
The School and Role
This Primary School in the Gateshead area (NE10) is currently seeking to recruit a KS2 Teaching Assistant to work on a full-time basis from September 2025. The successful KS2 Teaching Assistant will be supporting within the Year 6 classroom at school, providing a range of 1:1, intervention and general support as required. This is a ‘Good’ school, where staff go above and beyond to ensure each child has the tools they need to achieve.
Requirements
The desired KS2 Teaching Assistant will have;
- Experience of working with primary school aged children
- Experience of working with pupils with SEND
- A passion for the progress of primary school pupils
- An ability to work as part of a team
