An exciting opportunity has arisen at Yamaha Motor Europe N.V., Branch UK within our Land Sales Division for the right candidate to join us as PTW Sales Coordinator. Reporting to the Sales Manager, Motorcycle & Scooter, you would be responsible for coordinating sales initiatives and information within other areas of the company as well as to our dealer network to ensure we maximise our sales potential and hit our targets.
Those that apply will need to be prepared to assist three field-based Area Sales Managers (ASM) with business partner queries they receive whilst on the road to deliver efficient responses in line with our brand direction.
You will need to have strong verbal and written communication skills and be able to build positive relationships with different types of stakeholders. Our dealers need to be provided with and proactively receive our latest product information and pricing updates as well as stock availabilities with this role being key to its efficient distribution to them.
The successful candidate will be involved with the creation and distribution of our franchise terms, assist with putting together presentations for internal sales meetings or event opportunities with the network, as well as creating the necessary sales campaign administration following sales management direction for external communication and up-take opportunity.
We utilise Salesforce for our Customer Relationship Management and our PTW Sales Coordinator will need to assist the dealer network with queries coming from this to make sure no sales lead and interaction opportunity with our customers is lost. There is also an expectation to attend and work occasional events and exhibitions as this presents another customer touchpoint opportunity for the end user to experience our product and interact with our brand.
You will ideally have sales experience from a retail or wholesale background. Those that apply should expect to receive regular training on our products and Yamaha Motor Academy and will need to take their own responsibility for keeping such knowledge up to date.
Having a motorcycle licence will be considered beneficial when applying for this position.
