We’re on the lookout for a friendly, enthusiastic volunteer to help make our events run smoothly and create a positive experience for everyone who visits the Grand Union Canal, a beautiful jewel running through Brent.
No experience? No problem! We’ll provide all the support and guidance you need to succeed.
As an Ambassador Volunteer, some of the things that you could do are:
* Capture amazing moments at our events
* Welcome attendees, sign them in, and ensure everyone feels at home.
* Share information about the Canal & River Trust, our mission, volunteering opportunities, and assist with inductions.
* Support our donation efforts to keep the Canals thriving.
What we’re looking for:
* A local resident who knows and loves the Brent Canal area.
* Availability to support at events throughout the year on various days of the week
* Commitment of at least once a month or more if you would like
* We will have a meeting and you will get full training prior to starting
