The role involves managing complex insurance claims, ensuring fair and timely resolutions, delivering excellent client service, and maintaining regulatory compliance. EXPERIENCE 5 years in commercial claims handling, preferably within an insurance broker environment. Strong understanding of commercial insurance products and terminology. Proven experience managing complex claims and advocating for clients. Familiarity with regulatory compliance and industry standards. SKILLS Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail. Proficiency in insurance software (e.g., Acturis) and Microsoft Office. Ability to mentor junior team members and foster collaboration. Client-focused approach with a commitment to high-quality service. DAY TO DAY Manage a varied portfolio of claims across different insurance lines. Act as the primary client contact, advocating for fair claim resolutions. Negotiate settlements with insurers and third parties. Maintain accurate documentation and ensure regulatory compliance. Provide empathetic customer service and address client inquiries. Implement proactive risk management measures to prevent future claims. Stay updated on industry trends and mentor junior claims handlers.
