Location: REMOTE predominantly, occasional travel to Lancashire office may be required periodically.
Our client is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join their team, primarily working on project-based digital transformation initiatives, especially with local government clients.
Experience:
* Operational change management (not technical)
* Experience with Local Government Bodies
* Knowledge of Revenue & Benefits processes
* Lean 6 Sigma certification
* Digital Transformation experience
Key Tasks:
* Specify, model, and document business requirements ensuring completeness and clarity, aligned with statutory, regulatory, and quality standards.
* Utilize modelling, requirements gathering, and process mapping techniques to support business change initiatives.
* Analyze processes to identify deficiencies and improvement opportunities, presenting proposals clearly to technical and managerial stakeholders.
* Maintain documentation such as process maps and specifications to support ongoing business change.
* Communicate effectively to understand and align with business needs and priorities.
* Assess risks and opportunities associated with recommendations, suggesting mitigation strategies.
* Identify necessary processes and IT solutions to implement recommendations.
