Job Title: Learning Support Assistant

Salary: £89 - £99 Per day
Job Duties:
* Providing support to students with learning difficulties or disabilities
* Assisting teachers in implementing individual education plans
* Monitoring and recording student progress
* Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
* Helping students with personal care needs, if required
Required Qualifications:
* GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
* Experience working with students with special educational needs
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively in a team
Education:
A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools (or equivalent)
Experience:
Prior experience in a similar role within an educational setting
Knowledge and Skills:
* Understanding of various learning difficulties and disabilities
* Knowledge of relevant legislation and policies in special education
* Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
Preferred Qualifications:
* First Aid certification
* Additional training in specific learning support techniques
Working Conditions:
* Working hours are typically during school hours
* May involve assisting students with physical disabilities
* Regular collaboration with teachers, parents, and other support staff

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
