Our client, a well-established and forward-thinking accountancy practice, is looking to appoint a Senior Accountant to join their Accounting Services team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled finance professional to manage a varied client portfolio, prepare and review financial statements, and support junior staff development.
The ideal Senior Accountant will have at least 5 years' experience in a similar role, with strong technical knowledge of accounting standards, excellent analytical skills, and confidence working directly with clients. Experience in the medical sector would be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and review accounts for companies, sole traders, and partnerships
* Ensure compliance with statutory deadlines and regulations
* Guide and review the work of junior team members
* Liaise with HMRC, Companies House, and external stakeholders
* Provide clear and tailored client advice
* Support process improvements and digital initiatives
Requirements:
* Proven background as a Senior Accountant or similar
* Strong working knowledge of GAAP and accounting software
* High attention to detail and excellent communication skills
* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
