About theRole
As Head of RE you will play apivotal role in shaping the departments vision and direction. Yourresponsibilities will include:
* Leadingthe RE department providing strong leadership and fostering acollaborative and supportive teamenvironment.
* Developing and implementing astimulating and engaging RE curriculum across all key stages (KS3KS5).
* Delivering highquality RE lessons thatinspire students and ignite their curiosity about differentreligions and philosophies.
* Monitoring andevaluating the progress of students in RE identifying areas forimprovement and implementing effectivestrategies.
* Contributing to the schools widerenrichment program potentially including leading RE clubs ortrips.
* Keeping abreast of current developmentsin RE education and implementing best practices within thedepartment.
AboutYou
* Qualified TeacherStatus (QTS) in RE or a relevant subject with demonstrableexperience teaching RE.
* A minimum of 35 yearsexperience teaching RE at a secondary schoollevel.
* Proven leadership skills and the abilityto motivate and inspire a team of teachers.
* Astrong track record of raising standards in RE and achievingexcellent student outcomes.
* Excellentcommunication interpersonal and organizationalskills.
* A passion for RE and a commitment toproviding students with a wellrounded understanding of differentfaiths andbeliefs.
