PPA Teacher (Part‑Time – 3 Days per Week)

Pay: £120 – £160 per day (dependent on experience)
Contract: Part‑time – 3 days per week
We are currently recruiting a PPA Teacher to support a welcoming primary school in Preston (PR1) from September 2026. This is a fantastic part‑time opportunity (3 days per week) for a flexible and confident teacher who enjoys working across the primary age range.
The Role
* Deliver pre‑planned PPA cover lessons across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
* Provide high‑quality, engaging teaching across a variety of year groups
* Maintain positive behaviour and classroom routines
* Work collaboratively with school staff to ensure continuity of learning
Experience working as a PPA Teacher is desirable but not essential, as full support will be provided.
The Ideal Candidate
* Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Is confident teaching across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
* Fully inducted teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are encouraged to apply
* Flexible, organised, and adaptable to different classes and settings
* Strong classroom management and communication skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
