Our client is highly-regarded defendant firm with offices nationwide. They are currently recruiting a defendant serious/catastrophic injury associate. Applicants must be 0-4 years PQE with previous multi-track defendant personal injury experience. You can expect a competitive salary and hybrid working structure.
Your new role
This Defendant Serious/Catastrophic Injury Associate role will see you:
\t
* Manage a diverse caseload of complex liability and injury claims, including catastrophic injury matters.
\t
* Handle both pre-litigation and litigated files, up to high multi-track level.
\t
* Advise on employers' liability (EL), public liability (PL), motor, product liability, and defective premises/property claims.
\t
* Liaise with a range of clients, including insurers, public sector clients, local authorities, restaurants, retails and clients in the leisure industry.
\t
* Conduct thorough investigations and provide strategic advice to clients.
\t
* Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills in assessing liability and quantum.
\t
* Maintain and develop client relationships through clear communication and exceptional service delivery.
\t
* Collaborate with colleagues across national and international offices on cross-border quantum investigations.
\t
* Apply knowledge of policy coverage where required.
What you'll need to succeed
\t
* UK Qualified Solicitor (NQ-4 years PQE) or CILEX qualified with relevant experience.
\t
* Proven litigation experience, including assisting on high-value multi-track defendant work.
\t
* Working knowledge of policy coverage is desirable.
\t
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
\t
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
\t
* Proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality outcomes.
