Payroll Manager (Weekly & Monthly High-Volume) Step into a senior payroll leadership role where accuracy, control and service resilience are non-negotiable. You'll oversee end-to-end payroll delivery and drive continuous improvement for weekly and monthly payroll operations. Salary/ Benefits Competitive salary Hybrid working from Belfast Chance to lead high-impact payroll delivery with a strong controls focus About you Significant payroll leadership experience in a high-volume environment Strong technical knowledge of payroll processing, reconciliations, statutory requirements and audit evidence Proven people leadership experience (Team Leaders and operational teams) Excellent stakeholder management and clear communication skills Strong attention to detail, with a root-cause mindset for continuous improvement Nice to Have Skills Experience supporting payroll transformation or system implementation (testing, cutover, go-live) Experience with public sector or large outsourced/shared services Oracle payroll knowledge (e.g., Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM Payroll) Experience supporting audit activity Preferred Education and Experience Practical, senior-level payroll knowledge through leadership/specialist experience Desirable: recognised payroll qualification or membership (e.g., CIPP) and continued professional development Other Requirements Security vetting to CTC level required Must have been resident in the UK or Republic of Ireland for at least 3 years at the point of application For further information on this job, apply via the link or contact the VANRATH office for a confidential chat today.
