About Opportunity:Dr. Justice Dhananjaya Y. Chandrachud, former Chief Justice of India, is looking to appoint two Junior Associates on a retainership basis for his office.Educational Qualification:Must hold a law degree (3-year or 5-year course) from a recognized university.Eligibility:Open to fresh graduates from the Class of 2025 up to candidates with four years of post‑qualification experience (PQE).Probation Period:Initial probation of three months.Retainership Duration:Engagement for one year, extendable upon mutual agreement.Remuneration:A monthly retainership of INR 1,00,000.Conditions of Engagement:This is an exclusive retainership, meaning selected candidates must maintain strict confidentiality and are not permitted to undertake independent legal work, including filing vakalatnamas or appearing in any legal forum.Location:The position is based in Delhi.Role and Responsibilities:Legal research and drafting.Assisting in the preparation of legal opinions, speeches, articles, and books.Supporting domestic and international arbitration work.Application Period:Applications will be accepted from 21 April 2025 to 20 May 2025.
