Job Overview
Base Location: Successful applicants must be based from one of our Scottish locations and are expected to spend 50% of the working week in the office – Perth, Aberdeen or Inverness.
Salary: £34,749 - £40,939 plus a range of other benefits to support family, finances and wellbeing.
Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time | Flexible – First options available.
Responsibilities
* Manage project accounts, including raising purchase orders, ensuring suppliers are paid on time and responding to external supplier queries.
* Coordinate and prepare project-related meetings, ensuring they are scheduled, attended and that accurate, high-quality minutes are produced.
* Coordinate multiple reports and data inputs, ensuring deadlines are met and working closely with Finance to support external reporting requirements.
* Assist with any additional, role-specific administrative duties as required.
* Travel between SSE offices or project sites as needed; occasional overnight stays may be required. A driving licence is required.
Qualifications
* Excellent administration and organisational skills with exposure to a broad range of stakeholders and project teams.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, keen eye for detail and ability to prioritise workloads while meeting demanding deadlines, independently or as part of a team.
* Proven problem-solving ability, prioritisation, and collaborative working style supported by strong communication skills.
* Experience of managing or supporting project finances is beneficial.
* Practical experience with multiple software packages and systems, including O365 (such as PowerBI) and internal systems.
