The Bar Manager will be responsible for overseeing the operations that lead to the success of Kings Cliffe Club.
The successful candidate will take responsibility for the financial achievements of the site.
Their main duties and responsibilities include:
* Leading a team of bar and catering staff .
* Ensuring that the front-of-house is appropriately staffed, with particular attention to the peaks and troughs of sales.
* Meeting sales and profitability targets.
* Creating a welcoming environment for customers.
* Ensuring consistent, high-quality, value driven products are available to our customers.
* Dealing with customer feedback and providing adequate solutions to customer complaints
* Creating a positive work environment for staff and encouraging their career development and training.
* Monitoring inventory and performance of stock to ensure adequate supply and ageing.
* Overseeing the cleanliness and house disciplines for staff, the customers and the presentation of the premises.
The site has available a fully fitted professional kitchen facility.
Preference will be given to candidates with skills in utilising these facilities to support the profitability of the site but catering experience, whilst desirable is not essential.
Salary will be commensurate with experience and a two bedroom flat is available if required
