Position: Full-Time, Assistant Manager

Picture This: You're not just managing a pub; you're curating the heart of a community. The Royal Forester Country Inn is a beloved country inn where locals gather for a pint by the fire and visitors travel for a memorable meal and a unforgettable overnight stay. We're famous for our Accommodation, ( Four in a bed Winner), Sumptuous Breakfasts, 1 Rosette Restaurant and cosy friendly Atmosphere, and we're looking for a dynamic Assistant Manager to help us write our next chapter.

The Role: More Than Just a Manager

This is a unique hands-on role that blends traditional pub leadership with the creative power of modern marketing. You'll be the right hand to the General Manager, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations while also taking the lead in making our pub the most talked-about spot in the county.

A Day in Your Life:

· Leading the Front-of-House Team: You'll coach, support, and roster our brilliant team of servers and bar staff, ensuring every guest feels welcome from the moment they walk in.

· Driving Excellence: You'll maintain our high standards for service, food and drink presentation, and overall customer experience.

· Social Media Storyteller: This is where you shine You'll be the voice of [Your Pub Name] online, developing and executing campaigns that fill our tables and build our community.

· Content Creation: Capture and create stunning photos and reels of our food, our atmosphere, our events, and our team.

· Campaign Management: Plan and run promotional campaigns for everything from our Sunday Roasts and seasonal menus to our quiz nights and summer festivals.

· Community Building: Engage with followers, respond to reviews, and build relationships with local influencers and businesses.

· Commercial Savvy: You'll help with stock control, supplier orders, and driving sales to meet financial targets.

Who You Are:

· A natural leader with experience in a supervisory role within a busy pub, restaurant, or hotel.

· A social media native who lives and breathes Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. You understand what makes content engaging and shareable.

· A creative thinker who gets excited about brainstorming a new menu launch or event promotion.

· A people-person with impeccable communication skills, both in person and online.

· Organised, proactive, and able to juggle the demands of service with the planning of your next big campaign.

· A genuine passion for the hospitality industry and the unique charm of a country pub.

Bonus Points If You Have:

· Experience with basic graphic design tools (like Canva).

· Experience planning and promoting events.

· A good eye for photography and videography.
