Field Service Engineer (m/f/d) - UK based
Your Responsibilities:
Commissioning and installation of injection molds, cube molds, controllers and hot runner systems worldwide.
Carrying out repair, maintenance and servicing work on injection molds, cube molds, controllers and hot runner systems
Technical analysis and problem solving in the event of system faults and malfunctions
Assessment and repair of molds and systems on site at the customer's premises.
Preparation of initial sampling and maintenance documentation, as well as process documentation.
Provide training to customers in-house or at customer sites to ensure that all operating and maintenance processes are carried out correctly.
Provide feedback on product issues and applications to the organization to initiate corrective actions.
Working with international customers to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction in the service area.
Independent travel organization together with the supporting areas such as the travel team
Follow-up of service assignments including documentation, reports and bookings.
Supporting quality management in the processing of customer complaints and quality problems.
Support and cooperation in the Molding Solutions Facilities when no service is due
Your Qualifications:
Successfully completed apprenticeship as a toolmaker, precision mechanic or process mechanic
At least 2 years of experience in working with injection molds and hot runner systems, ideally also with hydraulic systems.
Sound knowledge of plastics processing, injection molding technology and quality control.
Experience in electrical installation and electrical system design is an advantage.
Very good knowledge in the use of common office software, as well as CAD and 3D software.
Experience working in ERP systems is an advantage (SAP, Epicor)
Good written and spoken English skills.
Willingness to travel internationally > 60%
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Willingness to continuously develop and adapt to new technologies and processes.
