We are expanding our reach in New England and are looking for a motivated, relationship-driven Sales Representative to build partnerships and grow our presence in the corporate wellness space.
Role Overview
As a Sales Representative, you’ll cultivate relationships with health insurance brokers, referral partners, and HR/healthcare decision-makers. You will represent SkillfulMeans at networking events, broker “lunch & learns,” and industry gatherings, showcasing the value of our wellness programs.
This is an exciting opportunity for a self-starter who thrives on building relationships, enjoys networking, and wants to make a difference by bringing wellness into more workplaces.
Responsibilities
* Develop and nurture relationships with health insurance brokers, HR leaders, healthcare professionals, and referral partners.
* Organize and deliver broker “lunch & learns” and presentations to showcase SkillfulMeans offerings and mission.
* Represent SkillfulMeans at networking events, conferences, and industry gatherings throughout Massachusetts and New England.
* Partner with brokers and referral networks to expand reach and generate new client opportunities.
* Collaborate with the internal team to ensure smooth onboarding of new clients and ongoing relationship management.
* Track outreach, leads, and pipeline progress using the company CRM or tracking tools (Google, Notion, Kajabi).
Qualifications
* Proven success in sales, business development, or relationship management (experience in insurance, healthcare, HR, or wellness industries a plus).
* Comfortable with networking, public speaking, and facilitating presentations.
* Self-motivated and driven to achieve results in a commission-based environment.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
* Ability to travel locally within Massachusetts and New England for meetings and events.
Compensation
* Initial Stipend: To support onboarding during the first few months.
* Ongoing: Competitive commission-based compensation with uncapped earning potential.
