Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Cost Manager located in our Nottingham and/or Derby offices. The Cost Manager will be responsible for managing construction project budgets, preparing cost estimates, tracking project costs, and ensuring financial efficiency. Day-to-day tasks include negotiating contracts, monitoring spending, analyzing financial data, and preparing cost reports. The Cost Manager will also work closely with project teams to provide financial guidance and ensure that projects are delivered within budget.
Qualifications
* Strong pre and post contract Cost Management skills in the construction industry.
* Excellence in cost management, budget preparation, and cost estimating skills.
* Experience in negotiating contracts and managing project expenses.
* Proficiency in financial data analysis and cost reporting.
* Excellent organisational and commercial management skills
* Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
* Experience in the aviation industry is a plus.
* Bachelor's degree qualified / RICS Chartered Quantity Surveyor.
