What you’ll do:
* Develop and integrate auxiliary systems such as HVAC, fuel, cooling, firefighting, hotel, power and propulsion.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
* Ensure auxiliary systems are designed for reliability, efficiency and maintainability.
* Drive innovation in energy efficiency, emissions reduction and sustainable solutions.
* Produce system calculations, technical specifications, P&ID drawings, design disclosures, FMEA and integration deliverables.
* Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and regulatory standards.
* Mentor and guide junior engineers, sharing technical expertise.
Qualifications:
* Degree in Marine/Mechanical Engineering (or related field), or equivalent.
* Strong background in Naval or Marine Auxiliary systems and Power & Propulsion.
* Expertise in system integration and familiarity with challenges in integrating auxiliary and power & propulsion systems with other ship systems.
* Knowledge of industry regulations, system optimisation and integration challenges.
* Ability to develop power & propulsion architectures and analyse across a range of operating profiles to ensure system optimisation for redundancy and fuel consumption.
* Experience and awareness of energy‑efficient solutions and emission reduction technologies.
* Problem‑solving mindset and collaborative approach.
* Eligible for BPSS clearance (SC clearance may be required).
