Labcorp is seeking a Cage Wash Technician to join our team in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire.
Work Schedule: Monday Friday 8.30am-5pm
Job description Job Responsibilities:
Breakdown and cleaning of animal/laboratory equipment.
Operation of Industrial cleaning equipment including rack, bottle and pressure washers.
Cleaning of facility corridors, procedure and empty animal rooms. Ensuring enclosures are cleaned in accordance with clear instructions and maintained to the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness
Ensuring equipment is safe for use, checking and raising repair requests.
Logistic tasking with receipt, storage, issue and disposal of all items entering a busy facility.
Operation of mechanical handling equipment.
Responsible for maintaining regulatory waste streams.
Accurate recording of data to Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) standards both IT and written documentation.
Required profile Minimum Qualifications:
Educated to GCSE Level or Equivalent
Additional Job Standards:
The ability to learn and be flexible as well as the capability to develop the requisite skills required.
Previous experience in a fast paced, high turnover industrial cleaning role.
Basic IT skills with focus on MS Office 365.
