We’ve an opportunity for a talented and experienced catering professional to join our busy and skilled Catering team at our Head Office. Our team delivers a full, high‑quality catering service for staff and visitors, serving Slimming World Food Optimised meals in our gorgeous 400‑seat staff restaurant, as well as at events and conferences across the business. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is ready to take the next step in their career. While appointed as Assistant Catering Manager, this role has been created with the clear intention of rapid progression into the full Catering Manager position, supported through structured development, coaching and hands‑on leadership. About the role… As Assistant Catering Manager, you’ll initially play a key role in leading, motivating, supporting and developing our restaurant team with a view to taking full responsibility for the full Catering Team, while remaining ‘hands‑on’, where required - sharing your expertise and cooking alongside our talented onsite chefs in our spacious, modern kitchen. You’ll also: work closely with the Catering Manager, supporting the planning and organisation of the day‑to‑day running of the kitchen, including people management, stock control, ordering and managing deliveries, cost control and waste management be responsible for creating varied, inspiring menus using Slimming World recipes for our self‑service staff restaurant, buffet functions and large‑scale conference and event catering. You’ll also be: a positive, engaged person who enjoys motivating and supporting a team, with strong communication skills across kitchen, front‑of‑house and the wider business highly organised with a keen eye for detail, experienced in menu planning, stock control, supplier management and food safety, including allergens adaptable and enthusiastic, thriving under pressure, able to multitask and keen to take on increasing responsibility while maintaining exceptional quality standards an experienced catering professional or chef, confident working in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment, delivering freshly prepared food daily.
