MECHANICAL FITTER – INDUSTRIAL MAINTENANCE & INSTALLATION
We are looking for aMechanical Fitterto join our growing industrial maintenance team. If you have a mechanical background, and enjoy hands‑on problem solving, we want to hear from you.
You’ll be working both independently and as part of a team on our client’s sites and our factory based in Rochester.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial equipment and plant machinery
* Conduct fault‑finding and preventative maintenance to minimise downtime
* Work with other trades and supervisors to complete shutdowns and projects
* Complete service reports and maintain accurate records of all work.
* Ensure all work complies with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate
* Trade qualification in Mechanical Fitting / Engineering (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
* Proven experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or plant environment.
* Good all‑round mechanical knowledge.
* Observe and work to health, safety, and quality standards
* Full UK driving licence.
