Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and mentor a team of experienced finance professionals, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous development.
* Own and evolve the group’s financial control frameworks – from documentation to policy setting and approvals.
* Ensure robust compliance with IFRS and key regulatory standards, including the Solicitors Accounts Rules.
* Proactively drive enhancements across internal controls, risk frameworks and end-to-end financial processes.
* Act as a key contact for internal and external audits – ensuring smooth delivery and insightful reporting.
* Support the valuation and monitoring of complex financial items including disbursements and accrued income.
* Lead and support finance-led change projects, introducing automation, new technologies and best practices.
About You:
* ACA / ACCA qualified with strong post-qualification experience.
* Deep understanding of IFRS and exposure to technical accounting and statutory reporting.
* Strong stakeholder management skills with the confidence to lead change and influence at senior levels.
* Passionate about leveraging technology and new ways of working to enhance financial control.
