Learning Support Assistant with BSL1 (4 or 5 days)
Position: Learning Support Assistant (BSL1), 4 or 5 days per week. Part-time contract, permanent. Actual salary £16,584. Hours: 28 ¾ per week, Monday to Friday, 8.45am – 3.30pm. Start date: Immediate. Application close: 02/10/2025 Midday. Interviews: To be confirmed.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a committed learning support assistant to join our Resource Base for Deaf Students to support our teaching staff and deaf students. There will also be a requirement to support students with a variety of additional and specific needs across the curriculum.
You should have a good general education and an ability to foster good relationships, whilst demonstrating patience and sensitivity. You should also be able to work flexibly as part of an established team. British Sign Language Level 1 is essential, BSL 2 is desirable.
