Role: Maintenance Engineer Location: Based near Leven, East Riding of Yorkshire Salary: £35,000-£40,000 I am partnered with an engineering business in the East Riding of Yorkshire who are seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join the team on a full time, permanent basis. This will be a hands on position maintaining their factory machinery, they’re looking for someone who is multi skilled (mechanical and electrical) to perform preventive and reactive maintenance responsibilities at the site. Key Skills Required: Mechanical and Electrically skilled in maintenance in a manufacturing environment Previous experience in maintenance of industrial and factory machinery Experience maintaining CNC machinery and familiar with CNC programming and operation Understanding of safety regulations, practises and procedures relevant to working in an industrial environment. A key communicator who is able to communicate with people at all levels Role Responsibilities: Lead all maintenance activities at the factory, ensuring health and safety is adhered to Perform planned preventative maintenance and repairs on factory machinery Maintain necessary documentation of repairs and maintenance duties Respond to breakdowns and repairs effectively and proactively Diagnosis and troubleshooting of electrical and mechanical equipment and machines Perform calibration procedures on factory machinery Communicate with internal and external stakeholders when necessary, regarding processes, ordering of parts Implement improvement strategies for machinery to increase factory effectiveness Other Information: Starting Salary: £35,000-£40,000 Location: Near Leven, East Riding of Yorkshire Rural location, so must be able to drive to commute to work Day time shift pattern, with a half day on Fridays 24 days holiday per annum, plus bank holidays Enrolment onto company pension scheme To be considered for this opportunity, you must have full UK right to work, my client is unable to offer sponsorship for this position.
