Job Summary
As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting residents and clients with their daily living activities, while promoting independence, dignity, and emotional well-being. This position involves working within our care home setting and providing home care services, which may require travel between locations. Our dedicated team works in both care home and home care environments, ensuring high-quality assistance is always close at hand. We are now looking for a dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our growing team. Freshers are also welcome to join our team.
Responsibilities
* Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility support.
* Implement and follow individual care plans tailored to each resident's needs.
* Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in residents' conditions to the nursing staff.
* Provide companionship and emotional support to residents to enhance their quality of life.
* Ensure a clean and safe environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
* Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members to ensure continuity of care.
* Drive to clients' homes as required for home care services, ensuring timely arrival and adherence to scheduled appointments.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is preferred but not essential.
* Strong understanding of care plans and the ability to implement them effectively.
* Proficient in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Basic IT skills for maintaining records and using healthcare software systems.
* A valid driving licence is desirable for transporting clients as needed.
