Job Description
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Assistant Site Manager to support the delivery of a new build police station alongside a car park in Wellingborough.
This is a great opportunity to work on a public sector project, supporting the Site Manager to ensure the project is delivered safely, on programme, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities

Assist with the day-to-day running of the site
*
Supervise subcontractors and ensure works are completed to programme
*
Maintain high health & safety standards across site
*
Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks, and daily briefings
*
Monitor quality and carry out snagging inspections
*
Ensure RAMS, permits, and site documentation are completed and followed
*
Liaise with the Site Manager, subcontractors, and client representatives
*
Support coordination of trades, materials, and site logistics
Requirements

SMSTS

CSCS Card
*
First Aid at Work
*
Previous experience as an Assistant Site Manager
*
Experience working on public sector projects (e.g., police station, fire station, hospitals)
*
Experience delivering flat car park projects (essential)
*
Experience with steel frame and/or cladding
*
Strong knowledge of health & safety and site compliance
*
Good organisational and communication skills
