HR Co-ordinator
Position based in our office at Prime View in Kingswells, Aberdeen.
Key Duties
* Provide day-to-day HR advice and support to managers and employees.
* Handle employee relations issues including disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance management.
* Support recruitment and onboarding activities.
* Maintain accurate employee records.
* Assist in ensuring that all areas pertaining to personnel are run in a cost-effective and safe manner.
* Provide support in the planning and administration of specific rig schedules.
* Ensure optimum use of offshore personnel across all installations, maintaining effective communication at all times.
* Be responsible for recording all personnel movements in the personnel database and carry out spot audits on the quality of information held in the database.
* Ensure that all personnel records are retained in a confidential and professional manner.
* Liaise with recruitment agencies with regards to sourcing agency personnel.
* Arrange travel/accommodation as required.
* Process monthly payroll, ensuring timely and accurate submission.
* Carry out all general day-to-day HR administration.
* Participate in a rota system providing out of hours on call cover for all personnel issues.
* Be a member of the emergency response next of kin team.
* Perform any other duties as directed by your supervisor.
Preferred Qualifications
* A minimum of 3 years’ experience in an HR role.
* Working knowledge of UK employment law.
* CIPD qualification preferred but not essential.
* Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and HR systems/databases.
* Must have experience of dealing with external clients and suppliers.
* Ability to manage a diverse workload and prioritise accordingly.
* Demonstrated ability to exercise independent judgement and maintain strict confidentiality.
