Library Customer Advisor (3 positions available)
Salary: £25,583‑£25,986 pro rata
Hours: 24 hrs per week, 20.5 hrs per week, 18.25 hrs per week

As part of the first integrated public and university library in the UK, the Library Customer Advisor role is diverse and ever‑changing. You will help customers access a wide range of resources and services and provide digital one‑to‑one support, lead events and activities for all ages, and support online group activities.
Key responsibilities include:
* Provide excellent customer service and respond to enquiries in person and digitally.
* Support customers in accessing library collections, databases, and other resources.
* Lead and facilitate events, storytelling, and other activities for children and adults.
* Assist with “online activity groups” and support remote customers.
* Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and requests.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, flexible, and energetic individual with strong customer‑service skills. A background in retail, hospitality, community, education, early years or library work is valuable, but a strong customer focus is essential.
